Hi all,

We have recently sold our Drascombe Longboat (replaced by a Wheelyboat). As it was sold to an individual, we hung onto the special seats we had for it. These are available to a good home. If any other Sailability club has a Drascombe and would like them, they are free to a good home (collection or shipping costs covered ...).

Let me know if you might be interested ...

Andy...we have a drascombe Lugger which we use mainly as a load carrier. It has bench seats. What are your seats like and how are they fixed in the boat? David McKee Wealden Sailability

David,

Attached is an image of the seats. As I remember it (I didn't sail the Drascombe much), they bolted through the bench seats somehow, but they were also easily removable where people didn't need them. I can try and find out more detail from our CI at our sailing session tomorrow - he fitted them and so will know exactly how they worked.

If you need further photos then just let me know.

All the best,

Andy

David,

One further image attached to see it from the other angle.

Best wishes,

Andy...sorry it has taken a little longer than planned to get back to you. Having discussed the offer with my Trustees I think the seats are probably not for us. We have managed with the bench seats on our Drascombe and have just taken delivery of a Pioner for wheelchair users...we also have a homemade seat which fits in to a Laser Stratos so I think we have enough options, but thanks for the opportunity to have them.. David  ps good luck with the wheelyboat. We deabated long and hard about getting one and having taken the decision in principle then decided to go with the Pioner.

David,

No problem at all - all the best for this season. If anyone else is interested, then just let me know.
